The volunteer training will include an overview of Surfrider nationwide and the Santa Barbara County Chapter, followed by details on specific ways to volunteer locally. Volunteer opportunities include leading beach cleanups, helping with the Ocean Friendly Restaurants program, the Ocean Friendly Gardens program, stopping offshore oil drilling, protecting the Gaviota Coast, website maintenance, and more.
